Ole Kortzau is the Scandinavian master of simplicity, who has translated his mode of expression into countless products.
He was born in 1939, qualified as an architect at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1966 and gave lectures at the Academy of Art and other institutions.
He has his own design studio in Copenhagen, where he is currently executing commissions primarily for Royal Copenhagen, Ege and Epal of Iceland.

Kortzau was born in 1939, qualified as an architect at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1966 and started the Grønne Studie design studio in 1973 along with a small group of architects. He is well known for his postcards of Denmark, with colourful beach and landscape scenes of which over 100 exist. He designed also a wide-ranging production of porcelain, glass, silverware, textiles and wallpapers
