Paul Gayrard, zoon van de beeldhouwer Raymond Gayrard,
studeerde onder zijn vader en ook onder Francois Rude en David d'Angers.
Hij debuteerde in the Paris Salon in 1827

Paul Gayrard, son of the sculptor and engraver Raymond Gayrard.
studied under his father as well as under Francois Rude and David d'Angers.
