Produced in the 1970s, but in exceptionally good condition. Made of Baydur polyurethane: the shell and arms are molded in a single piece. The chairs are heavy, sturdy, and swivel. These are the versions with a cross base. They are also available with a round base. Both the cross base and the round base fit the chairs.

The chair is exhibited worldwide and is part of the collections of the Vitra Museum Germany and the Design Museum Brussels, among others. It is currently also on display at the exhibition "Luigi Colani - Shapes of the Future" at Marta Herford, Germany.
