Te koop Jaguar XJ12 Series 3 Sovereign uit 1988. Mooi bordeaux rood gekleurd, leren interieur, panorama open dak en bijpassende pepperpot velgen.

Ik heb deze auto gekocht in 2022 van de 2e Nederlandse eigenaar, een liefhebber die 8+ jaguars had in allerlei soorten en maten. Met zoveel auto’s kun je niet altijd rijden, vandaar dat deze toen aan ons gegund werd. Deze auto komt oorspronkelijk uit Zwitserland en is in november 2009 naar Nederland geïmporteerd en toen grondig gerestaureerd door Jagpoint. De auto heeft nergens roest en rijdt fantastisch. Wij rijden er voornamelijk in de (zomer) vakanties mee. Toen wij de auto kochten had die 127.000 km op te teller, nu 145.000 km. Wij zijn er als familie mee op vakantie geweest naar Italië, België, Frankrijk en uiteraard Engeland/Schotland. Tussen de vakanties door is er veel onderhoud gedaan aan de auto, veel rubbers zijn vervangen (in het verleden toch iets te weinig mee gereden), en uiteindelijk veel nieuwe onderdelen: nieuw hemeltje (nog door vorige eigenaar), nieuwe accu, nieuwe thermostaten, nieuwe airco plus slangen geschikt voor toegestane koelmiddel, stuurbekrachtiging gerenoveerd, cruise control hersteld, remrevisie achter, motoren van de elektrische ramen vervangen, uit voorzorg de riemen vervangen, benzine verdeler-kleppen, wiellagers voor en een nieuwe aluminium radiator. Het totaal aan rekeningen bedraagt ca 12.500 Euro. Alle rekeningen ter inzage, onderhoudsboekje is compleet. De auto is geen 10 met een griffel, maar wel bijzonder mooi en weer geheel functioneel en zeer goed rijdend. Met enige aarzeling zetten we haar te koop, maar wij zijn toch toe aan een ander avontuur (nu een klassieke landrover). Vraagprijs is 18.500 Euro. Huidige APK is tot 10-02-2026, als u wilt keuren we haar nog een keer. Elke keuring toegestaan. Hieronder een paar foto’s voor een eerste indruk.

For sale Jaguar XJ12 Series 3 Sovereign from 1988. Beautiful burgundy red color, leather interior, panoramic open roof and matching ‘pepperpot’ rims. I bought this car in 2022 from the 2nd Dutch owner, an enthusiast who had 8+ Jaguars in all shapes and sizes. With so many cars you can't always drive regularly the same car, which is why this one was granted to us. This car originally comes from Switzerland and was imported to the Netherlands in November 2009 and then thoroughly restored by Jagpoint, a well know restauration company in the Netherlands. The car has no rust anywhere and drives fantastic. We mainly drive it during the (summer) holidays. When we bought the car, it had 127,000 km on the counter, now 145,000 km. We have been on holiday with it as a family to Italy, Belgium, France and of course England / Scotland. In between the holidays, a lot of maintenance was done to the car, many rubbers were replaced (in the past it was driven too little), and finally many new parts: new headliner (still by the previous owner), new battery, new air conditioning plus hoses, power steering renovated, cruise control repaired, rear brake overhaul, electric window motors replaced, belts replaced as a precaution, petrol distributor valves, front wheel bearings and a new aluminum radiator. The total of invoices amounts to approximately 12,500 euros. All invoices are available for inspection, maintenance booklet is complete. The car is not concours condition, although it comes close to it, very beautiful and fully functional again and drives very well. With some hesitation we put her up for sale again, but we are ready for another adventure (now a classic Land Rover). Asking price is 18,500 euros.
