Trained as an artist/photographer, Marcus Adams set up his London studio in 1919, specialising in children. In 1926 he photographed the baby princesses, to be followed by the next generation - Prince Charles and Princess Anne. His photographs are now collectable, especially those in the style of Reynolds, Gainsborough or Lawrence. A readable text, packed with well printed duotone plates, many sepia on cream.
