jazz dag' is the largest jazz networking gathering yearly in the netherlands with showcases of 24 jazz formations at a festival. It took place in rotterdam, the netherlands, at the locations lantarenvenster and hotel new york, on june 24, 2011. These cd's are a compilation of the jazz formations who presented themselves at the 'jazz dag'. The 'jazz dag' is an initiative of and organized by 'buma cultuur' and 'stichting jazznl'. This release is a cooperation between: > ntr: brengt cultuur (dutch public broadcasting / programming organization) > buma cultuur (dutch copyright organization) > radio 6 soul & jazz (dutch public radio channel) > jazzism (dutch jazz magazine) the 4-page leaflet contains a track-list with the songs/artists and info about the event called 'jazz dag'. The notes are in dutch only. Leaflet and the 2 cd's are stored in a slim line double jewel case with transparent tray.
