16 Beatles LP's + Banksy Rollling Stones Sticky Fingers LP

The Beatles '65 LP Capitol ST-2228 Stereo (#0044)

Condition: Very Good (VG).
The Beatles' fourth Capitol studio album charted on Billboard's Top 200 for 71 weeks, which tied with their first, "Meet The Beatles", for chart longevity at that time.
It held down the #1 spot for nine weeks. A mixture of covers and originals (mostly the latter) hinted at "Rubber Soul", still three American albums and nearly a year away. Condition: Very Good (VG).. From the GRT Collection

The Beatles '65 MONO T 2228 LP Capitol Rainbow Label (#0045) Condition: Very Good Plus (VG++)
After the resounding success of Meet The Beatles one year prior (11 weeks at Number One onBillboard's album charts) and, shortly thereafter, The Beatles' Second Album (five weeks at Number One), Capitol's third Fab album Something New got only to Number Two (largely because the group's A Hard Day's Night soundtrack album on United Artists was holding down the Number One spot!). Capitol was anxious to get back on top, and Beatles '65 was the perfect vehicle, rising to Number One almost immediately upon release and staying there for nine weeks in early 1965. Red/rust inner sleeve, indicating the first pressing of the album (late 1964), with air holes in shrinkwrap. No plant number on back denoting an East Coast contract pressing. Condition: Very Good Plus (VG++). From the Stan Panenka Beatles Vinyl Collection.

Meet The Beatles Mono LP Capitol T 2047, 1964 (#0046) Condition: Very Good Plus (VG+)
For Americans, this was the record that launched Beatlemania. It included songs already released in the UK, but few in the US knew about the Beatles until "I Want To Hold Your Hand" began getting airplay on this side of the pond. Unquestionably one of the most important albums in Rock and Roll history. Condition: Very Good Plus (VG+)

Introducing The Beatles Ultra-Rare Version (#0047)

Condition: Near Mint (NM or M-)
With large "Stereophonic" banner at top, contains "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You", song titles arranged in two columns on back. One of less than twenty copies known, the rarest of the rare. Let's just pull some quotes from Beatle expert Perry Cox's LOA to describe this album (full transcript below): "World's Best!... This is, without question, among the rarest of all commercially issued Beatles albums made in the U.S.A.! It is a crowning jewel for any collection." For the collector that desires rarity and demands perfection, you've found your copy of Introducing The Beatles! Condition: Near Mint (NM or M-). From the Stan Panenka Beatles Vinyl Collection.

George Harrison LP Extra Texture - Read All About It (#0048) Record Grading: Excellent (EX)

Extra Texture is the sixth studio album by English musician George Harrison, released on 22 September 1975. It was Harrison's final album under his contract with Apple Records and EMI, and the last studio album issued by Apple. The release came nine months after his troubled 1974 North American tour with Ravi Shankar and the poorly received Dark Horse album. The melancholic mood of the recording reflects Harrison's depressed state at the criticism generated by these projects.

Among Harrison's post-Beatles solo releases, Extra Texture is the only album on which his lyrics are devoid of any obvious spiritual message. Uniquely also, it was recorded mostly in America rather than England, while Harrison was working in Los Angeles in his role as head of Dark Horse Records. Gary Wright, David Foster, Jim Keltner, Jesse Ed Davis, Leon Russell, Tom Scott, Billy Preston and Jim Horn were among the many contributing musicians. The keyboard-heavy arrangements incorporate elements of soul music and the influence of Smokey Robinson, signalling a further departure from the rock and folk-rock sound of Harrison's popular early-1970s work. Contrasting with the musical content, the album's art design conveys an upbeat mood and includes an unusual die-cut cover with a textured surface.

Despite receiving an unfavourable response from the majority of music critics, Extra Texture was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America within two months of release. It produced a hit single in the Motown-inspired "You", originally recorded in London in 1971 with co-producer Phil Spector. The album also includes "This Guitar (Can't Keep from Crying)", which was both a sequel to Harrison's 1968 composition "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and a rebuttal to his detractors. The album was remastered and reissued in September 2014, as part of the Apple Years 1968–75 Harrison box set.

Meet The Beatles - Stereo LP (Capitol 2047, 1964). (#0054)
Condition: Excellent (EX)

The British Invasion is officially on! The overnight success of this much ballyhooed album was years of labor and skill-honing in the making. The group was already a sensation in the UK and Germany, but didn't draw the attention of the US until early 1964. Draw attention, they did, with this album and their American tour. Rock 'n' Roll hadn't had such an impetus since the early days of Elvis, some eight years before. Unsealed, still in shrink wrap. Condition: Excellent (EX)

Banksy Rollling Stones Sticky Fingers LP (#0497)
'Sticky Fingers' is one of the most remarkable albums by The Rolling Stones. The entire album cover and famed Stones tongue was designed by Andy Warhol. In a new era for the Stones. This can also be heard in the new rock sound of this album. Mick Taylor is back at his best and totally in his element. You can clearly hear that on Sway, Can't You Hear Me Knocking and You Gotta Move. Brown Sugar is the most popular song on this album. Bitch is a nice, heavy song with good interplay by Richards and Taylor. Jagger sings his loud lyrics again. Charlie Watts keeps the tempo high and Bill Wyman just plays his part of bass quite well as always. There are also some guest artists in the background of some songs; Rocky Dijon, Billy Preston and Ry Cooder. With 'Sticky Fingers' The Rolling Stones started a new era. They were much more precise with this album. It has oblique rock songs, blues songs and ballads. They are well combined here. You can hear that the members are passionate and they show that with good songs.
