My horse is a 5-year-old English Thoroughbred gelding, standing at 162 cm. He retired from racing a few months ago and is now calmly and positively starting his new career as a riding horse. Despite his young age, he is calm, attentive, and sensitive to human interaction. His big heart and willingness to work make him a pleasure to train.

He is stabled in Bergen (NH) at Stal Koopman, and is now following a light and varied training routine: groundwork, lunging, and short rides under saddle. He benefits from regular work – ideally 4 to 5 short sessions per week. An occasional relaxing ride in the dunes would also be great for his mind and body.

Who am I looking for?
I’m looking for a reliable and experienced riders who:

Is a available 3 or 4 times a week

Are 16 years or older with riding experience (including lunging and groundwork) or willing to take lesson


What I offer:
A very sweet horse with a lot of potential
A calm and pleasant stable environment in Bergen (dunes and forest are very closeby)
Flexible scheduling for riding/training days
In winter, stable maintenance is included in the boarding fee, but a helping hand is always welcome (not mandatory)


What I ask:
A monthly contribution of €200 towards expenses (boarding, basic feed, maintenance)
Involvement in his daily care
Helping with feeding
