Selling these beautiful Japanese-made Araya rims (26x1.5 HE VP-20) with near-new MAXXIS DTH 26”x2.3” tan-wall tyres, MAXXIS inner tubes (Presta valve), and Schwalbe high-pressure rim tape. The rims are about 28mm, so super wide, and fit the larger tyres really well. They appear to be straight and true - I can provide videos of both F+R spinning on the bike to give a better indication. The hubs spin fine, a service in the future wouldn’t hurt. The MAXXIS tyres, inner tubes and the rim-tape were literally ridden for 5-minutes to get this project bike to my home, so they’re basically brand new.

This listing is for the complete wheelset (front and rear), including the 7-speed cassette on the rear, and the axle skewers F+R. From what I can tell, these are all original parts from my project bike (early-90s Specialized Rockhopper) - the cassette had no shifting issues when I briefly rode it. Good for a 90s MTB restoration project or just to get your daily commuter rolling again!
