About the designer
Carlo Bimbi (b. 1944, Florence) is an Italian designer known for his work that bridges industrial function and creative experimentation. Educated at the Istituto d’Arte and ISIA in Florence, Bimbi collaborated with major Italian brands such as Segis, B&B Italia, and Driade. His designs often display a refined simplicity and playful modernist logic, characteristic of the Italian design renaissance of the 1970s–80s.
