Fantastische Gretsch Duo Jet G6128-BKEE Elliot Easton signature uit de Professional Collection. Deze gitaar is gebouwd in Japan nog vóór de overname door Fender Musical Instruments.

Van het beperkt aantal gebouwde Elliot Easton’s is het merendeel uitgevoerd in Cadillac Green en slechts enkele exemplaren, zoals deze, uitgevoerd in Gloss Black (BKEE). Een zeer zeldzame verschijning dus.

De gitaar heeft met zijn chambered body een prettig gewicht (3,8 kg) en is nog voortreffelijk in shape met slechts lichte gebruikssporen. De golden hardware is hier en daar ook wat vervaagd. 
Is nu besnaard met flatwound Jazz .011

Biedingen vanaf € 2150,- worden serieus genomen. Onzinbiedingen doen  niet mee. Wordt dus niet op gereageerd. Ook niet op vragen over de "laagste prijs".

Ruil met een Duesenberg Double Cat 12-string wil ik eventueel in overweging nemen.

The Elliot Easton signature guitar features vintage Duo Jet style with ultra-pro refinements courtesy of Elliot and Gretsch.
Its updates include Sperzel locking tuners with small vintage tuning keys, 25" scale length, graphite nut, 2 alnico-magnet Filter'Tron™ pickups, and a Tune-O-Matic bridge. You also get custom touches like a master volume control with no loss of highs at lower volumes, a pickup selector switch that's closer to the strumming hand, and a tone switch with a distinctive, midrange lead voice.
It has the '50s-style narrow headstock, 2-piece maple neck, ebony fingerboard, neoclassical thumbnail position markers, and a semi-hollow mahogany body with an arched maple top.
It's a unique hybrid that keeps the vintage Gretsch look and sound with special custom touches and added versatility.
