Protects equipment and data in the event of a power failure The APC Smart-UPS Li-Ion SCL500RMI1UC provides your equipment immediately from emergency power if the power goes out. The UPS then takes over the power supply by automatically switching to the lithium-ion battery. This way your applications can continue to run temporarily and you prevent data loss and damage to equipment. The APC also offers protection against lightning strikes and peak voltage.
Short depth: ideal for tight spacesThe APC SCL500RMI1UC is a so-called short depth UPS. These are UPS systems specifically designed for tight spaces. They are therefore more compact in size and less deep (23.2cm) than standard models (47.7cm). The APC SCL500RMI1UC therefore fits easily into wall racks and small cabinets.
SmartConnectOut-of-box remote UPS monitoring, included free of charge during the (possibly extended) warranty period. Using the SmartConnect ethernet port, you can easily connect the Smart-UPS to your network and easily monitor it remotely via the secure APC SmartConnect cloud-based web portal.
Lithium-ion battery This UPS from APC runs on a lithium-ion battery, which offers several advantages over traditional lead-acid batteries. Lithium-ion batteries last up to 10 years. This is twice as long as the lifespan of traditional batteries, meaning you don't have to replace them as quickly, saving costs. Lithium-ion batteries are also 30% smaller and lighter and better resistant to high temperatures (e.g. 40°C). The battery has a 5-year warranty, just like the UPS itself.
Battery lifespanThe period during which the APC Smart-UPS can temporarily supply power depends on the number of connected devices. The more devices are connected, the shorter the bridging time. For example, the operating time is 2.7 minutes at a maximum load of 400 Watts, while this is 29.4 minutes at a load of 40 Watts. If the battery is almost empty, an acoustic signal will sound.
