Meer geheugen op een entrylevel videokaart aanbrengen is een marketing-tool (more is better, not always, in deze situatie wordt een grafische kaart trager met 2GB 2048MB). De AMD Radeon HD6450 is uitgerust met het dubbele aantal shader (160) processors voor het vergrote voor het vergroten in 3D capaciteit als entrylevel HTPC grafischekaart vergeleken met voorgaande sucessvolle populaire entrylevel AMD Radeon HD5450 series (80 Shaders).
