Beckhoff EK9300 | PROFINET RT Bus Coupler
The EK9300 Bus Coupler connects PROFINET RT networks to the EtherCAT Terminals (ELxxxx) as well as the EtherCAT Box modules (EPxxxx) and converts the telegrams from PROFINET RT to the E-bus signal representation. One station consists of an EK9300 and any number of EtherCAT Terminals. The coupler is connected to PROFINET RT via RJ45. In EtherCAT, the PROFINET RT coupler has at its disposal a lower-level, powerful and ultra-fast I/O system with a large selection of terminals. The coupler supports the PROFINET RT profile and fits seamlessly into PROFINET RT networks.

The EL2809 digital output terminal connects the binary 24 V DC control signals from the automation device on to the actuators at the process level with electrical isolation. The EtherCAT Terminal has 16 channels, whose signal states are indicated by LEDs. The power contacts are connected through. The connection technology is particularly suitable for single-ended inputs. All components have to use the same reference point as the EL2809. In the EL2809 the outputs are supplied via the 24 V DC power contact.

The EtherCAT Terminal has 16 channels, whose signal states are indicated by LEDs. The power contacts are connected through. With the EL1809, the reference ground for all inputs is the 0 V power contact.
