Guitar pedal effect - boost/overdrive. The BB Preamp offers a wide variety of sounds. It's capable of up to +30 dB of clean boost with an adjustable ±15dB two-band active EQ that adds a wide range of harmonic content to your ideal sound. The BB also utilizes a pre-gain stage which allows the pedal to go from a very pristine sound to a very smooth, compressed, overdriven sound. True bypass for eliminating signal interference when it is turned off.

Capable of 30dB clean boost and smokin’ overdrive tones, the Xotic BB-Preamp Andy Timmons signature model is a reincarnation of the original Xotic Effects BB-Preamp that first hit the market in 2005.

With a reputation for its natural sound and smooth compression, the original BB Preamp became an instant hit with guitar players and a staple overdrive pedal on Andy’s pedalboard. Years later the BB Preamp is still part of Andy’s signature sound!
