The Science of Immortality - D.N. Dunlop - RARE FIRST PRINT!

On offer is a first edition of D.N. Dunlop's "The Science of Immortality" (The Path Series, No. 3), printed by The Path Publising Company, 1918. As shown on the pictures it appears that some deranged mind has taken a hammer and drill to cause some damage to this rare little volume. This damage, however, doesn't in any way affect the text. The contents of this volume consist of addresses delivered at various times before Lodges of the Theosophical Society and selected for their reference to the subject of immortality. This book does not pretend to be a completely systematized scheme of philosophy. It contains only hints upon which students may build for themselves a science of immortality. Contents: approach to the path; races of humanity; sense functions and faculties of the mind; individuality and personality; breath and desire; will, universal and individual; thought, its origin and control; birth and death; the soul and its manifestations; immortal soul.

This book is a rare find as a first printing, and I have only come across two of these volumes in the last ten years. Currently no other known first editions for sale!!
