They are very popular with many renowned guitarists and have been played or owned by numerous celebrities. Some of these guitarists are: Andrés Segovia, the legendary Spanish guitarist who played a Ramirez guitar and was instrumental in establishing the instrument in the classical music world. Likewise, Paco de Lucía, the famous Spanish flamenco guitarist, played Ramirez guitars. His impressive technique and innovative styles made him one of the most influential guitarists of the 20th century. The Australian classical guitarist John Williams is also known to have played Ramirez guitars. Their interpretations and recordings contributed significantly to the popularity of Ramirez guitars.
