Rolex released the first Oysterdate Precision in 1959, this watch is an icon when you think of Rolex. Production of the 6694 runs from the late 1950s to 1987. The movement of the 6694 is a hand-wound movement, which gives this watch a lot of character. In my opinion, the 6694 is a very charming watch with a lot of character and certainly underrated. As mentioned, this watch dates from 1972 and has serial number 3xxxxxx. This precision 6694 is equipped with a hand-wound movement 1225, plexiglass and has a silver-colored dial with the original tritium hour markers and hands. The Rolex 6694 comes in stainless steel, with the beautifully folded oyster bracelet, which makes this watch from the 1970s perfect. The end link at the 6 o'clock side is a bit loose, which is not surprising for a watch from the 1970s. The watch is in very good condition and has been serviced if necessary.
