TONBO BJJ / ju-jitsu gi HURRICANE, blue, 580gsm / 14oz

HURRICANE is a type of gi, which obligates. You cannot loose while wearing it, you cant be passive. Go for training or competition, and be fast, powerful and devastating as a category 5 hurricane - a phenomenon of extreme intensity. Simply put it on, go to the mat and wipe out everyone, who stands in your way.

BJJ / ju-jitsu gi HURRICANE has been designed and produced in the Tonbo workshop, in Wroclaw, Poland. All components come from Polish suppliers.

Jacket is made of cloth (pearl-wave weave) of weight of 580g / m2, while pants are made of a highly durable fabric with a plain weave and weight of 14oz. Both fabrics are 100% cotton, both undergo a process of pre-shrinking. We used the same fabric as for pants, to trim jackets collar, secure triangular slits in jacket and pants, as a jackets yoke, as a sleeves and pantlegs trimming, and also to strengthen the front part of pants, ranging from mid-thigh to the bottom of the leg. We stitched together individual parts of the suit using french seam, quilted triple times. We used durable and abrasion-resistant core thread to perform all the stitching. During both: designing and production processes our major goal has been the suits maximum endurance.

We accentuated the blue gi with white trimming, white stitching and white and dark blue embroideries. Also differently to most products available on the market, we did jackets yoke. Primarily, it is made from one piece of fabric, without unnecessary seams. Secondly, we stitched it not half circle-like, but sharply, which we believe adds a bit of dynamic to HURRICANE gi.
