Theo Wanne is a renowned American mouthpiece manufacturer, but little known are his saxes.

The sax boasts modern keywork in a Selmer style and decent ergonomics.

This horn features a bore that is slightly larger than the modern standard. In pair with unlacquered vintage finish and copper/bronze alloy, this sax has a powerful big sound. Strong projection, open tone, with fat low end and plenty of rich detail across the range.

This sax is coming from 2012 or so, and is overhauled in a top shop in Poland about a year ago and not much played afterwards.

Everything seals nicely, pads are in a perfect shape and have installed custom Vibro resonators.

Comes with 2 necks: the original mantra neck and the new neck, that has been modified for a piezo mic.

Plastic thumb hook is installed, but I’ll add the original brass one.

The finish has currently a bit more oxidation than on the pics.

Will ship with an unoriginal economy case, professionally packed.

I’m selling because migrated to a modern Selmer and a 100y old Conn, so don’t play it anymore.
