The AH! Black TjoeLip monitor loudspeakers are highly specialized, low-volume audiophile creations developed by Durob Audio. Because they were built as a custom project utilizing high-end components—heavily sharing physical architecture and drivers with premium Aurum Cantus monitor designs but featuring proprietary crossover filters tailored by Durob—official specifications are shared mostly through historical community archives.
Technical Specifications
· Design Type: 2-way high-end standmount/bookshelf monitor
· Tweeter: High-performance ribbon tweeter (providing a highly airy, detailed top end)
· Woofer: Custom composite mid/bass driver with a prominent phase plug
· Sensitivity: ~85 dB (1W/1m), making them relatively low sensitivity and demanding of clean, robust amplification
· Nominal Impedance: Typically 8 Ohms (friendly to high-quality tube amplification)
· Crossover Filter: Custom-engineered internal crossover network developed by Durob Audio to refine smooth frequency integration
