Apple Macbook Pro 2019 (Space Grey)

Nette Apple Macbook Pro uit 2019, 13,3 inch, met 1,4 GHz quad-core Intel core i5, intel Iris Plus graphics 645 videokaart (1536mb), 8 gb werkgeheugen, 128 gb opslag en een (werkende) touchbar. De (onofficiele) oplader heeft kabelbreuk maar werkt in de juiste houding nog wel, dus die krijg je erbij zodat je in ieder geval aan de slag kan. De foto's laten al een deel van de specs en performance zien, maar ik zal hier beneden nog een aantal dingen toelichten. Lees dus aub deze advertentie goed door!

Toelichting
De laptop is uit 2019 en gebruikt voor mijn studie. Hij werkt op veel vlakken nog goed maar heeft ook een aantal serieuze gebreken:

• Hij heeft een probleem: wanneer hij aanstaat komen er zo nu en dan onregelmatige 'flitsen' in het beeld. Een strookje of blokje pixels licht dan een fractie van een seconde wit of zwart op. Ik weet niet waar dit door komt of hoe ik dit op los. Het kan zijn dat dit opgelost is wanneer ik de laptop voor verkoop helemaal leeg maak en reset, maar dat kan ik absoluut niet garanderen. Dit is een serieuze klacht en ik wil graag dat je daar als koper bewust van bent :)
• Er werkt een usb-c poort niet meer. Als ik de oplader daarin steek laadt hij niet op.
• De batterij geeft aan van 'normale' kwaliteit te zijn (foto 15) maar ik vond hem niet meer zo heel goed (had hem meestal aan de oplader als ik ermee werkte).
• Er zit een klein deukje in de behuizing (zie foto 4).

Goed om nogmaals te benoemen is dat hij verder dus nog goed werkt. Hij is snel en smooth, zoals je van een macbook verwacht. Ik heb een tijdje getwijfeld of ik hem wilde vervangen omdat hij (op de gebreken na) goed functioneert. Maar omdat ik er een gaming-laptop van wilde maken, wilde ik er toch een met meer intern geheugen. Vandaar de verkoop.

Toelichting foto's
Op de foto's probeer ik zo goed mogelijk te laten zien wat de status is van de laptop. Je kunt me natuurlijk ook een bericht sturen, dan kan ik bijvoorbeeld een filmpje sturen van het knipper-probleem. Hier een toelichting van wat er op de foto's te zien is.

• Foto 1-12: laten de behuizing, toetsenbord en meer zien voor een goed (cosmetisch) beeld
• Foto 13 en 14: tonen de specificaties
• Foto 15: toont de batterij informatie
• Foto 16 en 17: tonen de output na een probleem-detectie run (computer uitschakelen en D inhouden): geen probleem gedetecteerd.
• Foto 18-22: tonen een pixel-test op de hoogste helderheid. Het zwarte scherm ziet er op de foto een beetje gek uit misschien, maar dat ligt aan hoe de camera dat licht opvangt. Ik kon geen dode pixels zien.
• Foto 23: toont de output van de disk speed test, die te vergelijken is met andere computers op GeekBench (dit was een tip van ChatGPT :) )

Bij vragen kunt u me altijd een berichtje sturen. U mag hem uiteraard ook komen bekijken/testen in Utrecht. In verband met gevoeligheid van een laptop verstuur ik hem liever niet.

Apple Macbook Pro 2019 (Space Grey)

A nice Apple MacBook Pro from 2019, 13.3 inches, with a 1.4 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 (1536 MB), 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a (working) Touch Bar. The (unofficial) charger has a broken cable but still works if held at the right angle, so I’m including it so you can at least get started. The photos already show some of the specs and performance, but I’ll explain a few more things below. So please read this listing carefully!

Explanation
The laptop is from 2019 and was used for my studies. It still works well in many areas but also has a number of serious flaws.

• It has a problem: when it’s turned on, irregular “flashes” occasionally appear on the screen. A strip or block of pixels then lights up white or black for a fraction of a second. I don’t know what’s causing this or how to fix it. It’s possible this might be resolved if I completely wipe and reset the laptop before selling it, but I absolutely cannot guarantee that. This is a serious issue, and I want you, as the buyer, to be aware of it :)
• One of the USB-C ports no longer works. When I plug the charger into it, it doesn’t charge.
• The battery is listed as “normal” quality (photo 15), but I didn’t find it to be in very good condition anymore (I usually kept it plugged into the charger while working).
• There’s a small dent in the casing (see photo 4).

It’s worth mentioning again that it still works well otherwise. It’s fast and smooth, just as you’d expect from a MacBook. I hesitated for a while about whether to replace it because (aside from the flaws) it works well. But since I wanted to turn it into a gaming laptop, I decided I needed one with more internal memory. That’s why I’m selling it.

Photo Descriptions
In the photos, I’m trying to show the laptop’s condition as clearly as possible. Of course, you can also send me a message, and I can send you a video of the flickering issue, for example. Here’s a description of what you can see in the photos.

• Photos 1–12: show the case, keyboard, and more to give a good (cosmetic) overview
• Photos 13 and 14: show the specifications
• Photo 15: shows the battery information
• Photos 16 and 17: show the output after a problem-detection run (shut down the computer and hold down the D key): no problem detected.
• Photos 18–22: Show a pixel test at maximum brightness. The black screen might look a little strange in the photo, but that’s due to how the camera captures the light. I couldn’t see any dead pixels.
• Photo 23: shows the output of the disk speed test, which can be compared to other computers on GeekBench (this was a tip from ChatGPT :) )
