the chairs are of an early production and are in vintage condition with many signs of usage in accordance to the items age

2 Armchairs for sale: each upholstered in the Original black leather - These are early productions - the internal foam is supported with a metal structure
NOTE: the later production has lost the - PUFFY looks - and is more slim without the metal construction embedded in the foam to support them

Designed between 1970 & 1972 these plump - seemingly structureless sofas push the boundaries of design.
“The series turned out to be an icon for the 1970s and won the “Compasso d’Oro” award in 1979.
The search for a new shape for upholstered furniture: all of the parts are shaped like a large soft cushion.”
Le Bambole, said Bellini, “are not covered in fabric, instead they are built of fabric.”
