The Oris Big Crown is one of the Swiss brand’s most recognizable lines, with a history dating back to 1938. Originally created with pilots in mind, the model retains some of its most iconic features to this day—namely, the oversized crown and the distinctive pointer-date hand.

This particular piece features a 40mm stainless steel case and a striking blue-grey dial that shifts in character depending on the lighting. It is paired exceptionally well with a brown leather strap, which enhances the Big Crown’s vintage aesthetic without making it appear overly formal.

Beneath the sapphire crystal lies the automatic Oris Calibre 754-1, offering a 41-hour power reserve. The signature "pointer-date" function is indicated by a central hand that points to the date along a scale on the dial's periphery—one of the collection's most defining characteristics.
