Presenting the latest addition to the #3776 Century Fuji Unkei collection: “Kinu-Gumo.”
Produced in a worldwide limited edition of only 2,500 pieces, Kinu-Gumo—named after the Japanese term for “silk clouds”—marks the third installment in the Fuji Unkei series, a line inspired by the ever-shifting scenery of Mt. Fuji and the skies that surround it. This model evokes the graceful beauty of cirrus clouds through an exquisite combination of guilloche patterns and V-blade engraving applied to a translucent resin barrel.
At its core lies a rhodium-finished 14K gold nib, delivering Platinum’s renowned smooth and consistent writing performance. The pen is also distinguished by a domed finial featuring an engraved serial number, a subtle homage to Mt. Fuji itself.
Every piece comes with a 20ml bottle of Nishiki-Oru-Fuji ink—a glimmering autumn-inspired shade infused with vermilion and gold shimmer. An ink cartridge, converter, and special presentation box are included as part of the set. True to Platinum’s commitment to innovation, the pen is equipped with the patented Slip & Seal mechanism, ensuring ink stays fresh and ready to write for up to 24 months.

To celebrate the release of Platinum Pens model, the #3776 CENTURY, a series of fountain pens called “Fuji Five Lakes” was created from 2011 to 2016, followed by the “Fuji Shunkei” series from 2017 to 2021, which showcased the beautiful seasonal scenes of Mt. Fuji on the body of the pens using an advanced cutting technique. In 2023, the “Fuji Unkei” series was born with the concept of expressing that image using various decorative methods, inspired by the beautiful scenery created by the collaboration of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding clouds.
