First published in 1848, this is an 1855 edition of Davidson's work.
Davidson provides copious 'critical, explanatory, and practical notes and reflections, with an introduction, chronological tables, and index of subjects.
In the beautifull original full calf bindings, with gilt detailing.
Very smart with light rubbing and light spotting to the plates.
Very good and very scarce example!
