Rare antique 1920's "Flapper" nude, Amber glass Sculpture - Art Deco lamp topper. By Schweig Muller & Co. Circa 1920's.

A wonderful art deco frosted amber glass semi-nude female figurine. Made by Schweig, Müller & Co of Germany in the mid to late 1920's.

Unmarked, but other examples have been found with the base marked "REGISTERED 749772 FOREIGN". The design numbers 749772/3 were registered by English importer L. Cohen on November 4th, 1929.

This was originally an Art Deco lamp topper(Rock lamp base is not included) see the last photo for an example of a similar clear glass version.

These were made by Schweig, Müller & Co glassworks (Mueller) in the town of Weißwasser, eastern Saxony, Germany.

No catalogs of their work have been discovered yet, but at least one piece of their production is shown in the Weißwasser Glass Museum, a figural nude lady on a lamp base of rocks.

The same female figurine is also commonly found with different flower bowls and lamps with varying pedestal bases. She stands approx 20cm tall.

This Antique piece is very rare indeed, and works very well as a stand alone sculpture. It could be mounted on a new light fixture to show off how it catches the light from within.

The Piece is in very good, used condition, No Cracks, a tiny nibble on the inside base foot, otherwise light signs of use - Please study the photos to gauge the condition for yourself.
