Sowerby's Art Glass bowl - Hand made in Tyneside England. Original foil label - A wonderful blue glass boat style shaped bowl or ashtray.
Sowerby's Blue art glass bowl, handmade with air bubble inclusion and ground base.
Sowerby's were an English Glassworks trading from Tyneside, this bowl has the original makers foil label.
It is in a flowing form and comes complete with it's original foil label.This dates to the 1950's or 1960's Made by British company Sowerby it would make a great display item or as a serving dish for nibbles / nuts etc.
approx 17cm wide.
Sowerby Glassworks was born in 1760 and grew through the industrial age, finally closing in 1972.
The Piece is in excellent, used condition, No Chips No Cracks, light if any signs of use consistent with age. - Please study the photos to gauge the condition for yourself.
