A beautifully crafted Moroccan Sabra rug that features a handwoven design with intricate, natural-toned patterns. One-of-kind.
Handmade with 100% cactus silk, this rug is crafted in Morocco using time-honored techniques passed down through generations.
Cactus silk, a vegetable silk or Sabra silk, is part of the agave family. It is a plant-derived silk harvested from Saharan aloe vera cacti in northern Morocco. The plants are most commonly found in the Saharan desert. After the silk fibres are taken from the plants, they are washed, dyed, dried and then hand-spun.
Note: Due to the handcrafted nature of this rug, subtle variations in patterns and colors may occur, making the rug uniquely charming and one-of-a-kind.
