A charming and highly distinctive vintage Zassenhaus salt and pepper set, made in Germany.
The set consists of two matching wooden pieces with an unusual sculptural, conical form. The pepper mill features the characteristic horizontal black crank, while the matching salt container has the same geometric silhouette. Both pieces are clearly marked “Salz” and “Pfeffer”, with the Zassenhaus name present on the mechanism.
The combination of natural wood, black metal details and strong geometric shapes gives the set a particularly appealing Mid-Century Modern character.
Dimensions: approximately 11 × 9 × 5 cm.
Condition: Very good vintage condition, with minor signs of age and use.
