2 vintage French MAJOLICA CICADA shaped wall pockets. I believe these are from the south of France, circa 1970's.
These Cicada fly bags are very popular in the South of France. There is an old tradition of hanging them outside the front door filled with lavender to ward off evil and bring good luck.
A pair of Beautiful French Vintage Ceramic Cicada Planter Wall Hanging Ornaments. The small piece has a name on the side maybe Carviq?
These wall ornaments can be mounted to the wall with or without a wall plant. Some people prefer to rest them on a surface with or without a plant.
There is a hole in this to mount it to the wall. This is in good vintage used condition as shown in the photos.
These are used vintage items with some signs of wear. But they are in overall very good condition. The smaller one has a small chip see photos. This is reflected in the discounted price.
The cicada is believed to bring good luck and prosperity in some Asian cultures.
