Dit, inmiddels legendarische parfumflesje die voor veel geld wordt aangeboden, werd gemodelleerd naar de neus en lippen van de godin Aphrodite zoals afgebeeld in Dali's schilderij "the Apparition of the Aphrodite of Cnidus".

Description: Superb Surrealist tabletop sculpture that was created solely for use as promotional store displays for the release of Salvador Dali's "Salvador Dali" perfume. The iconic bottle form was modeled after the nose and lips of the goddess Aphrodite as depicted in Dali's own 1981 painting, “Apparition of the face of Aphrodite of Knidos” The sculpture is lightweight, molded resin finished in a matte black paint and filled with small beads for balance. This promo model was made around 1983
