Authentic handmade ostrich eggshell jewellery/beadwork from Nyae Nyae, Namibia, made by Ju/’hoansi craftspeople.
This is a large and substantial piece containing a very large number of individually made ostrich eggshell beads, arranged densely in natural white and brown tones. It is finished with a button-and-loop closure.
It feel dense and solid.
A distinctive piece of handmade Ju/’hoansi ostrich eggshell beadwork with known provenance from Nyae Nyae.
I bought this one and some others from Nyae Nyae myself this year, however I am now broke after this trip and I want to sell some of the jewellery I bought :)
