The French artist Jean Lefort was born in Paris.
He grew up in the artistic milieu of the capital and had his education there as well.
Lefort became a true colorist and devoted himself to an impressionistic way of painting. In loose brushstrokes he creates balanced compositions.
He paints lively scenes of the season and fresh flowers in a skilled and convincing way.
Living colours and masterly rendered light are important technical features of this artist.
