The painting shows a busy harbor scene, with alot to see.
It is signed lower rightside E. Moll, { Evert Moll is a famous Dutch painter, ( 1878 - 1955), see for more info. below}.
The size of the panel is, 30 x 40 cm
Size of the outside of the frame is, 41 x 51 cm.

Evert Moll is best known for his depictions of the Rotterdam harbour and shipping on the Nieuwe Maas, which he painted in the 1920s and 1930s. Starting around 1900 as a follower of the Hague School, Evert Moll soon shifted his field of work to the quays and bridges of the Maasstad. The dynamics of the harbour business also formed a source of inspiration for the painter. In addition, he excelled in many other genres. For example, he also painted cityscapes, landscapes and colourful, daring floral still lifes. Evert Moll was self-taught, but received advice from Willem Maris and Willem Roelofs.
