De lijst heeft een paar gebruik/opslagsporen, maar die vallen nauwelijks op.

Although based in the Netherlands, Erny Kahle feels the world is his working area. He held his first camera when he was 8 and bought his first professional SLR camera in 1967. Since 2003 he has been using the digital technique and became a professional photographer. Up until then he worked in IT and was responsible for implementing operating systems all over the world for Dutch banks.
In his younger years as a free lance photographer he focused on travel/culture and portraits. In 1970 he traveled to the Middle East and did a lot of work in Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq. Because of his several movements and severe conditions most of his archive was lost.
Nowadays he is specially interested in the Buddhist way of life and so he has been in the countries where Buddhism is the basic of the culture. Myanmar ,famous for its lovely and naïve people, and for the more than 2000 years old pagoda’s is his favourite place. But also countries and regions like Bhutan, Nepal and Ladakh have this sphere where you can work and achieve the most wonderful images. In his day to day work (architecture, portraits and weddings) Erny feels more a reporter involved in and with his subjects. He has had several exhibitions and publications about his culture photography.
