The Marantz M-CR502 (from the Melody series) is a compact and stylish all-in-one CD receiver produced in the late 2000s. It gained popularity for its combination of hi-fi sound quality and minimalist design.
Power: 2 x 50 W (at 6 ohms). A unique feature was the ability to operate in bi-amping mode (4 x 25 W), which allowed for more detailed driving of compatible speakers.
Sources: Built-in CD drive (supports CD-R/RW, MP3, and WMA), FM/AM tuner with RDS, and a front-panel USB port for flash drives.
Design: Cast aluminum enclosure with a glossy top panel. Looks modern even today.
Connectors: 3 analog inputs (RCA), subwoofer output, and headphone jack
Sounds good with Dali Icon 2 speakers.
