GUSTARD A26 Streamer DAC
The Gustard A26 s a high-end DAC that is as powerful as it is versatile. It is based on a high-quality architecture , notably using dual AK4499EX ‘Velvet sound’ DAC’s associated with an AK4191 modulator and an XMOS XU216 USB interface for faithful and rich sound reproduction. It also supports high-resolution audio streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD512 and MQA from its USB, I2S and LAN inputs.
With its two AKM AK4499EX DAC chips and its AK4191 digital modulator, the Gustard A26 ensures extremely high-performance decoding for rich, detailed, and precise sound reproduction. In addition, each channel benefits from an independent power supply, significantly reducing interference that could alter the audio signal.
The Gustard A26 integrates a network layer with its RJ45 Ethernet input and support for UPnP, Roon Bridge and HQPlayer NAA protocols . It can therefore be used as a streamer and allows you to access your files stored on your network, on a computer or a NAS for example.it can also stream music providers such as QUOBUZ and so on.
The built in audio stage which has a ‘ladder’ volume control, which is purely analog in operation, acts as an excellent analog processor which can be used to connect direct to an audio power amp or can be bypassed if used with a analog pre-amp. Both RCA and Balanced audio outputs are provided.
This DAC which was purchase in mid October 2024 is in ‘As new’ condition. It can be shipped or collected and demoed if wished,
