Supplied new from Chord UK in 2020 and fully serviced in May last year, once again by Chord UK

This is fully functional, has had the battery changed on the service and sounds superb.

I'm not good with the camera and I've tried to show that there are no scratches near the attachment points (common) and any 'marks' you may see in the images are dist and light scatter from the flash - not paint damage.

I don't supply the original charger or box sadly but I do have a packing box it was returned back to me from Chord so about the next best thing.

Rob Watts’ proprietary WTA (Watts Transient Aligned) filter architecture

approximately 38,000 taps in the WTA reconstruction filter – that’s only 2k less than the MoJo2!

That 38k-tap figure is the commonly cited number associated with Mojo 1 and was a major reason it stood out versus delta-sigma DACs.

The Mojo 1 architecture was basically a scaled-down implementation of Rob Watts’ bigger FPGA DAC philosophy:

custom pulse-array DAC

long-tap interpolation filter

no off-the-shelf DAC chip

emphasis on transient timing reconstruction

The core WTA idea is essentially reconstructing the analogue waveform more accurately by using a much longer FIR interpolation filter:
y[n]=∑k=0N−1h[k]x[n−k]y[n]=sum_{k=0}^{N-1} h[k]x[n-k]y[n]=∑k=0N−1h[k]x[n−k]
where NNN is the tap length. In Chord DACs, increasing NNN (tap count) is central to improving time-domain reconstruction accuracy.

This is truly outstanding DAC for its class and time. Portability was designed into it from the outset, although I've never used it that way, merely connected to my HiFi.

Happy to demo if collected
