Appearance
There are no noticeable scuffs or scratches, and the set remains in very clean condition.
Optics
There is dust in the lower right of the rear LCD monitor. On the lens there are two pieces of lint on the centre of the middle element, visible under normal light. This has no effect at all on the photographs taken, so you can buy with confidence.
Function
Fully functional. All operations work properly without any issues.
The shutter count is 2,473. A shutter life of 50,000 to 100,000 actuations is generally expected of digital cameras of this type. This example has used approximately 2-5% of that, so it has seen very little use.

Description
The Pentax K100D is a 6.1MP APS-C DSLR with a CCD sensor, a type valued today for the colour rendering of that generation. It has in-body Shake Reduction, so every mounted lens is stabilised, and it runs on four AA batteries, which are easy to find anywhere in the world. It comes here with the SMC PENTAX-F 35-80mm f/4-5.6. The K mount accepts Pentax lenses going back decades, which is part of the appeal of this system.
