The Pentax K-r is a 12.4-megapixel digital single-lens reflex camera, announced on September 9, 2010, that is good for beginners looking for a well-specified and affordable camera, for low-light (high ISO) work.

Pentax SMC Pentax-DAL 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6 AL Kit Lens, Pentax SMC FA 80-320mm f/4.5-5.6 Zoom Lens (Silver), Pentax Original Shoulder Strap, 8 x EBL Rechargeable AA Batteries and a charger (AA Lithium Batteries 1.5V 3000mAh High Capacity AA Batteries) and a 32 GB SD Card.

Note: It has a battery magazine for 4 AA batteries. I've been using high mAH (3000) rechargeable batteries, and they seem to be the best option out there. You can also use a rechargeable battery Li-Ion D-LI109 as standard.
