I'm selling these beautiful PROAC D2R (ribbon tweeters) in Walnut, without stands.
They're new, still under warranty, and I have proof of purchase from February 2025.
We're talking about the new model with magnetic grilles, meaning there aren't four holes on the front of the speaker. I think they are the only ones of this version in the second hand market.
I've only used them for two or three weeks. The reason? I thought I'd need a bookshelf speaker for a small room, but to my surprise, the PROAC D30 floorstanding speakers also worked well in that small room. And since I had a good buying opportunity, I decided to take the floorstanding speakers and sell the monitors.
The original retail price of these speakers (they just increased by 8% this year, 2025) is €5100. If you see lower prices online, it's because they haven't updated the price on the website yet, but €5,100 is the new price of the PROAC D2R in 2025... Another reason to be careful is that the ribbon tweeter is more expensive than the dome tweeter, and this isn't always specified on the websites. This is why online prices are sometimes misleading.
