The Shinybow SB-3877 8 x 2 Multi-Format Video Matrix Routing Switcher features 8 individual inputs and 2 individual outputs The inputs consist of 2x HDMI, 2x composite video with audio, 2x S-Video with audio, 2x component video with audio, and 2x VGA with audio. The outputs are 2x HDMI with digital audio and 2x VGA with audio. When switching between sources, the output fades to black and then fades into the new source you selected.
This matrix routing switcher supports NTSC / PAL / SECAM video systems allowing you to perform format conversion. It supports high definition digital signal with data rates enabling 1080p formats or if in PC resolution (1920 x 1200). Audio is present on all outputs regardless of the selected video signal type, and the volume control is set for either output channel, independent of each other. It completely eliminates the need to constantly move around HD input and output cables.
Control is provided via front push buttons with LED readout or IR remote controller. An RS-232 interface is provided for interfacing with third-party control or use the provided software. Input cable equalizer enables use of long cable runs of more than 50’ (15 m) when using 24 AWG cable at 1080i. A Windows-based control software package is included to provide complete control of the SB-3877 switcher from a PC.
Note: You can use both the VGA output and the HDMI output simultaneously giving you 2 outputs per channel for a total of 4 outputs per chassis.
