The TP-300FW is a twisted pair transmitter or receiver for FireWire (IEEE 1394) signals. When used in pairs, one will convert a FireWire signal into a twisted pair signal and the other will convert the twisted pair back to a FireWire signal and simultaneously output the twisted pair signal to another TP-300FW.

• Twisted Pair Ports - RJ-45.
• System Range - Up to 100 meters (320’) and up to 200 meters (640’) using a 3rd TP-300FW.
• Cable Type - Use STP (shielded twisted pair) cable for highest performance. UTP (unshielded twisted pair) cable can be used but usable cable distances may be lower than the specified 200ft. (60 meters).
• ESD Protection - Incorporates Kramer’s Spark Guard Pro™ signal protection circuitry to help protect against EDS (electrostatic discharge) which can damage digital equipment.
• Power Connect™ System - Only one unit in a system, the transmitter or the receiver needs to be connected to a power source.
• Compact Kramer TOOLS™ - 3 units can be rack mounted side-by-side in a 1U rack space with the optional RK-3T rack adapter. Additional rack adapters with other configurations are also available.
