Bang & Olufsen Beolit 707 transistor radio in uitstekende staat, getest en werkend; model Beolit 707, gewicht 5 kg, geen extra's.
The Beolit 707 received radio programmes on FM, long, and medium wavebands. This portable radio was Bang & Olufsen’s most convenient music system, with sound reproduction quality so outstanding that even critical music lovers could enjoy listening to music programmes away from home.
The Beolit 707 could be plugged into the mains supply or powered by batteries. The cabinet was finished in coloured Nextel – a synthetic material with a suede-like texture that is both washable and scratch-resistant. It was designed by Jacob Jensen.
Unlike most portable radios of its time, the Beolit 707 was suitable for reproducing more than just news broadcasts. Its excellent sound quality made music programmes genuinely enjoyable. The unit was fitted with a mains transformer and a detachable lead, with simple and problem-free operation. Since portable radios often faced rough handling, the Beolit was constructed to withstand such treatment: a robust chassis protects the internal circuitry, and a special surface treatment shields the radio from scratches. Dirty marks can easily be wiped away with a damp cloth.
This is a 100% original and fully working Beolit 707. It features the perfect and original B&O antenna (often broken or missing on other units). It also retains the original black plastic latches for the battery compartment, which are often replaced by unsightly screws—here they are intact and original. The battery contacts are perfect and show no signs of leakage. An external Bluetooth receiver (DIN connector) can be supplied as an option—simply plug in and play.
