Designed under the artistic direction of Philippe Starck, the ZEO television was marketed under several brands of the Thomson group including Nordmende in Germany.

This portable television offers many interesting features from a design perspective. Its overall shape, antenna, and detailed treatment make this object a true work of art. It is thus present in many art and design museums.Even its remote control, designed like a sea creature, is a source of amazement: it fits like a revolver, and it beeps when you whistle so you can find it if you lose it.
