La Dyane a été commercialisée fin août 1967. Elle s’intercalait entre la 2 CV et l’AMI6. Ses concepteurs la considéraient comme une 2 CV modernisée, d’égal confort, découvrable et avec des ailes débordantes comme son aînée, plus pratique avec son hayon, plus actuelle avec ses phares encastrés.
