Ik vind het geweldig dat dit boek de personages uit een breed scala aan Australische kinderprentenboeken, waarvan ik er veel ken en sommige onbekend zijn, tot helden maakt. Ik heb nu een lijst met nieuwe personages die ik wil leren kennen, dankzij dit zeer leesbare boek.
Dit is echt een boek voor alle leeftijden. De illustraties en interessante weetjes zullen jonge lezers zeker boeien. Oudere lezers zullen herinneringen ophalen en nieuwe personages ontdekken om aan de kinderen in hun leven voor te stellen. Leerkrachten en ouders zullen het een heerlijk boek vinden om door te bladeren en een nuttige bron.

I love that this book makes heroes of the characters from a wide variety of Australian children’s picture books, many familiar to me and some unknown. I now have a list of new characters that I want to meet, introduced to me in this eminently readable book.
This is truly an all-age book. The format will intrigue younger readers with its illustrations and interesting facts. Older readers will journey back into memory lane as well as finding new characters to introduce to the children in their lives. Teachers and parents will find it a delightful book to peruse and a useful resource.
