Tina N. Courtney was born and raised in Buffalo, NY, but moved to Charlotte NC in 2009. She was 9 when she first realized what a profound effect words can have. "The moment I first heard the song 'Against All Odds' by Phil Collins was the first time I remember feeling someone else's pain in through words. I was beyond moved. I was not blessed with the gift of singing so I moved on to the next best thing. I began to write poetry."

She began her journey of 'Chasing Eve' in 2013. This is her first book released.
