ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Born into a cultured, Orthodox home in Austria in 1896, young Jacob Gartenhaus came to America seeking wealth but found peace of heart in Jesus of Nazareth, Israel's Messiah and the world's only Saviour.

Overwhelmed by this revelation he immediately witnessed on a crowded street and was beaten nigh to death. Turned out of home that first night, he dedicated his life to winning his own people to the Messiah, Jesus. His ministry spanned over sixty

years.

Dr. Gartenhaus was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky. He authored a dozen books and was the founder of International Board of Jewish Missions, Inc., Box 3307, Chat- tanooga, Tennessee 37404. He went to be with the Lord in 1984. The work he began continues to be blessed by the Lord.
